Pre Season training is starting on the above date and to promote I’d like to invite all senior players to a BBQ at the club on Friday 15th June where the pre season plans and key objectives for the coming season will be presented by the Senior Coaching Team.

I sincerely hope you can make this event as we need to set out our stall for next season, which will undoubtedly be a challenging one following our relegation last season – Clive See

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General meeting of Twickenham Rugby Football Club will be held on Wednesday 4th July 2012, 8.00pm at TRFC Clubhouse, Parkfields, South Road, Hampton, TW12 3PE.

ALL members of TRFC are invited to attend, although only those with “Full Membership”, “Club Membership”, Life Members and Vice-Presidents may cast votes. Details of all nominations will be forwarded in due course.

The minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting and the agenda and reports of the Meeting being called will not be sent to members but will be available to all attendees on the evening of the Annual General Meeting. Should a member not be able to attend but require a copy of the documents they may apply in writing to the Honorary Secretary, enclosing a stamped, self-addressed A4 envelope. The documents of the meeting will then be forwarded in due course following the AGM

FROM OUR COLLECTION ON 18TH APRIL YOU ALL HELPED RAISE £260.50

Our next collection will be in September so please continue to bring your old clothes etc down to the club.

So we have raised over the 3 collections over £600 this has enabled us to purchase new tables and stalls refurbished for the clubhouse and will continue to help keep the club maintained. Our next aim is to get the sofa’s refurbished over the summer!

(We do not accept quilts, pillows, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets, off cuts or single shoes.) Your club will receive up to £0.50 pence per kilo, money for all your items that you would normally bin or take to the charity shop. Camberley has cancelled today’s game (29th April 2012) due to waterlogged pitches. There will be no game or training today. However, there will be training as usual on Wednesday 2nd May from 7.00pm to 8.30pm.

U11s on Tour to Poole

The U11s players and their families had a wonderful time on Tour to Rockley Park, Poole last weekend. All enjoyed the mixed age tag festival and plenty of our Dads got stuck in to the Dad “Friendly” following the tag… Our Pirates partied into the night and then put on two fantastic displays of rugby at Swanage and Wareham RFC against our hosts’ U11s and another touring team of Buccaneers from Braintree. A great tour had by all and many thanks from the U11s to Lytchet Minster RFC and to Swanage and Wareham RFC for looking after us so well.

Plate victory for U11s at Weybridge Vandals Festival
